Stinky’s is a great sports bar that has an updated interior while still feeling cozy and retaining the authenticity of the Lawrenceville neighborhood. The menu is robust with a variety of options, a nice happy hour, and late night food discounts. The beer menu is relatively extensive for such a small bar space and I enjoyed the variety of local brews on draft as well. The music is quite loud, so this is not the place for conversation or catching up with long lost friends. Service was prompt and attentive without being overbearing. I ordered a plain burger with lettuce, tomato, and onions as I like to be able to taste the meat to give an assessment. The burger was a generous size; however, it lacks the depth of flavor that I like to see – it was basic ground beef, which does have a time and place. I’d certainly return and probably stick to the deep fried foods.
