S&D Polish is a shop with some prepared foods inside. Supposedly, pre-pandemic they had a fresh kitchen where you could go in and order hot kielbasa sandwiches. Now, they still prepare food and you can warm it yourself or purchase it from the warming tray. I was able to try the potato and cheese pierogies from the warmer with butter and onions. I typically prefer my onions a bit more on the browned side; however, the butter was not too excessive. The filling was delicious. The noodle part of the pierogi was okay, but a little bland. The cabbage and noodles was very tasty – just cabbage, butter, spices and egg noodles. I would have enjoyed a bit more cabbage included in the container, but on the whole the flavor was exactly how you want it to be served. It would be worth going back if you don’t feel like making an entire tray of cabbage and noodles or are looking for some specialty Polish candies or sausages!
