Sly Fox is out of the Philadelphia area and produces a nice variety of beers, but is especially known for their IPAs. The beer is a very good quality; however, it is more expensive per pint than I have typically had at other craft breweries. The servers were relatively quick to provide service; however, not overly friendly or providing recommendations. The space inside is very nice with some cozy chairs and a fireplace. There is also a nice outside space with several tables. As one of the few places in this area of Pittsburgh it’s a nice option for a group to gather. The only unfortunate piece is there are some homeless encampments by the river and some shady characters that may be in some of the darker streets. Nobody was aggressive; however, it is important to keep yourself aware after dark in this area. Parking was relatively easy thanks to the river front spaces. I think the beer quality and the niceness of the space make this a great option if you are crossing the bridge or near Station Square.
